2020/21 CALL FOR PROPOSALS ON INNOVATIVE RESEARCH FUND COMPETITION

The research office of Haramaya University would like to invite interested staff member of the university with innovative research ideas to compete for the 2020/21 (2013 EC) innovative research grants of fund. Staff members are encouraged to submit ideas yielding tangible output, problem solving, and innovative research proposals. Innovative research focuses on creating new ideas, analyzing problems, diagnosing them and identifying their causes. Research deemed innovative may introduce a new paradigm, challenge current paradigms, look at existing problems from new perspectives, or exhibit other uniquely creative qualities. Main innovative research focus areas could be on life easing and problem-solving apps (to help the agriculture sector, water conservation and development, climate and environment, waste management, vaccines, drugs, nutrition, maternal and child health, software, energy, business models, power, electrical and mechanical engineering technologies, etc.)
