[dropcap]F[/dropcap]Fedis  research stations is located in Eastern Ethiopia at a distance of 47km from the main campus. It is serving as  sorghum  and lowland crops research station. It has a vision to become a center of excellence in  sorghum research  center in Ethiopia. The center has 3 permanent workers to facilitate and support the research activities in the research stations. The stations covers nearly 2.5hectares of land.
