[dropcap]H[/dropcap]aramaya Uineversity Dire Dawa (Tony farm) research stations is located in Dire Dawa town, Eastern Ethiopia 43km far away from  the main campus. It was serving as fruits and vegetable research since 1972. It has a vision to become a center of excellence in  drought resistance fruits and vegetable research  center in Ethiopia. The center has 95 permanent workers to facilitate and support the research undertaking in the research station which covers more than 30 hectares of land.
