Babile   research stations is located in Babile  town, Eastern Ethiopia 50 km far  away from the main campus. It is serving as lowland oil crops and sorghum research stations . It has a vision to become a center of excellence in  Lowland oil crops research  center in Ethiopia. The research station covers more than  6.65 hectares of land .The station has 4 permanent workers to facilitate and support the research activities  in the research stations.
